Pastor Elliott T. Ivey Sr.

Pastor Elliott T. Ivey, Sr. has faithfully served at the Church of Restoration since December 20, 2004, bringing over 20 years of pastoral ministry experience to the community. A native of Birmingham, Alabama, he was ordained to preach the Gospel at Antioch Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Q.E. Hammonds. Pastor Ivey is the proud father of two incredible sons, Elliott Jr. (EJ) and Quinton Excell (Q), who are his pride and joy.

Growing up in a strong Christian home, Pastor Ivey developed a deep personal relationship with Jesus at six. By age nine, he felt called to share the Gospel and began preaching from his mother’s front porch and wherever he went. His spiritual journey and commitment to spreading God’s Word locally, nationally, and abroad have spanned over 33 years.

Pastor Ivey is unwavering in his conviction to restore the lives of God’s people. Through sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, he reveals God’s plan of salvation and unconditional love for all. His vision aligns closely with the mission of the Church of Restoration: restoring people to God, connecting people to one another, and spreading grace to the world.

As he often says, We’re not always a perfect people, but we do serve a perfect God.”
